Maureen Marhayla is a healer, teacher, blessing giver, stone reader, ceremony leader, shamanic energy practitioner, mystic, and mother of four adults. She is a graduate of the Four Winds Healing the Light Body School, has studied with teachers of core shamanism, and has studied and sat in ceremony with healers in Peru. She has a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology. She is also a student of Healing Touch. 

Maureen has found that writing is a powerful act of healing for her. She believes that the stories we tell make a difference in how we live our lives. Maureen is happily writing the current chapter of her story on the banks of the Mississippi River. She loves trees, rocks, vibrant colors, reading, sitting by water, and Diet Pepsi with lime.
