The Three Wise Men
I sat down the other day, with the question of how to live my best life. In my ensuing meditation, I found myself in the Answer Room in the Heavenly Realms. There I met three wise men—a Q’ero shaman, a Tibetan monk, and a Celtic bard—who came to teach me.
The Q’ero shaman lives on the high mountains of the Andes. He was dressed in colorful woven cloth of geometric designs in pink, red, black, and orange, with a beaded cap on his head. He bent down and put his hands on my feet, connecting me to the ground. “Feel the Earth through your feet.”
The Tibetan monk who lives in a monastery in the Himalayan mountains, was clothed in saffron robes. He touched the top of my head and connected me to the heavens. “Feel the Divine through your crown.”
The Celtic bard lived in medieval Ireland, and appeared in front of me wearing a many-colored vest. He placed his hand on my heart, and his lips upon my lips. “Feel the connection with those around you through your body—touch and be touched.”
These are the ways of love.
